Dear DC Metro Family,

God is using DC Metro Church in ways I never would have dreamed possible to continue to “build a God-first culture throughout the DC Metro Area.” This brochure is our attempt to show you some of the amazing things that God is calling us to this Fall though our annual spiritual initiative called Season of Hope. Below are three areas of focus that will make this the most impactful Season of Hope yet:

Church

Our biggest initiative yet is this year, as we believe God for a new permanent facility that will enable us to reach further and do more as a church family. This amazing new facility is a tool that will help us to spread hope throughout the area for years to come.

Community

As a church of outreach, we will partner like never before during this Season of Hope to bring “hope” to a hurting world outside the walls of the church, after all God’s heart is expressed when we, as the people of God, spread the “hope” of our Savior.

Beyond

We believe that the local church is the hope of the world, and that “hope” is what compels us as a church family to support new church plants (like DC Metro Church) across the country. By partnering financially with the ARC (www.relatedchurches.com) we will see a total of 70 churches launched all over the nation by the year’s end.

This Fall I am encouraging everyone that considers DC Metro Church home to be a part of this Spiritual Initiative in the following three ways:

1. PRAY for the INITIATIVE

God is calling his people to seek His face during this Spiritual Initiative. Some will be called to join in fasting for the church while others will be stirred to pray for God’s vision to continue to be revealed as He grows our hearts and help us to reach our city.

2. SERVE in the INITIATIVE

There are a number of ways to join through serving. Some will help lead Season of Hope event teams, many will serve our community through outreach projects, and others will decide to make a commitment to serve the church during a weekend worship experience.

3. GIVE towards the INITIATIVE

God is challenging all of us that call DC Metro Church home to financially support the vision of the church. We are asking that you seek God for what He would have you sacrifice during this time. In order to accomplish all God has for us, we will have to raise $200,000 above and beyond our current budget before we can begin building renovations. We will also have to secure an additional financial committment of $20,000 per month added to our annual budget for the next 12 months.
